By purchasing or accessing any online training, course materials, in-person training sessions, or community spaces provided by Mayu Beauty Academy, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions.

These terms exist to protect the integrity of the education, the intellectual property of Mayu Beauty Academy, and the safety and professionalism of the student learning environment.

1. Intellectual Property

All course materials provided within Mayu Beauty Academy are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

This includes but is not limited to:

• Training videos
• Course modules and written materials
• Brow guides and manuals
• Downloadable resources
• Worksheets and templates
• Demonstration footage and images
• Any proprietary techniques, systems, or frameworks shared during training

These materials are provided for personal educational use only.

Students may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or modify course materials
• Share login access with others
• Distribute materials publicly or privately
• Upload content to external platforms
• Resell, teach, or repurpose the material as their own
• Screenshot, record, or redistribute course content

Any breach of intellectual property rights may result in immediate removal of course access without refund, and further legal action may be taken where necessary.

2. Course Access

Upon purchase, students will be granted access to the online course through the designated learning platform.

Access is granted solely to the individual who purchased the course.

Login details must not be shared with others. Multiple logins from different users or locations may result in restricted access or removal from the platform.

Students will receive lifetime access to the online course content for as long as Mayu Beauty Academy and the course remain active and operational.

In the event that Mayu Beauty Academy ceases operations, the course is discontinued, or the learning platform is no longer maintained, access to the course materials may no longer be available.

Lifetime access therefore refers to the operational lifetime of the academy and course, rather than the lifetime of the student.

3. Mentorship & Support

Mayu Beauty Academy aims to provide ongoing support to students as they develop their skills and careers.

Students may contact Maho for general questions, clarification, or guidance relating to course material, and this form of support may remain available for as long as Mayu Beauty Academy continues to operate.

However, private, intensive one-to-one mentorship, structured business guidance, and detailed coaching support are limited to six (6) months following course completion.

After this six-month period, students may still reach out for general questions or occasional advice, however extended mentorship or in-depth business support may not always be available.

In the event that Mayu Beauty Academy ceases operations, all mentorship, support, and community access will no longer be available.

4. Student Responsibility & Participation

Students enrolling in Mayu Beauty Academy acknowledge that developing technical skill requires consistent practice, time commitment, and active participation.

While the course provides structured education, demonstrations, guidance, and resources, it is the responsibility of the student to allocate sufficient time to:

• Practice the techniques taught throughout the course
• Review training materials and modules
• Complete exercises and practical components where applicable
• Continue developing their skills outside of the course content

Confidence and skill development are achieved through practice and implementation, and individual results may vary depending on each student's level of engagement.

If a student experiences difficulty keeping up with the course due to personal circumstances, time limitations, or lack of practice, Mayu Beauty Academy will do its best to offer guidance where possible.

However, refunds will not be issued based on a student's inability to complete the course due to lack of personal effort, practice, or participation.

5. Community Access & Conduct

Students may be invited to participate in a private community space associated with Mayu Beauty Academy.

This community exists to support learning, professional development, and connection between artists.

To maintain a respectful and supportive environment, all members are expected to conduct themselves with professionalism and integrity.

The following behaviour will not be tolerated:
• Harassment or bullying
• Disrespectful or hostile communication
• Discrimination of any kind
• Personal attacks toward other students or educators
• Spreading negativity or harmful commentary
• Sharing confidential discussions outside the community
• Self-promotion or solicitation without permission
• Behaviour that disrupts the learning environment

Mayu Beauty Academy is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment for all students.

If behaviour is deemed inappropriate, harmful, or disruptive, Mayu Beauty Academy reserves the right to:

• Issue a warning
• Restrict community participation
• Remove the individual from the community
• Terminate course access if necessary

Removal due to misconduct will occur without refund.

6. Certification

Certificates issued by Mayu Beauty Academy confirm that the student has successfully completed the course requirements and training curriculum.

Certification indicates completion of training but does not replace local licensing requirements, health regulations, insurance requirements, or legal obligations that may apply within a student's location.

Students are responsible for ensuring they comply with any applicable laws, regulations, and insurance requirements relevant to their business or professional practice.

7. Competitor & Education Replication Clause

The educational material, frameworks, teaching structure, and proprietary methods shared within Mayu Beauty Academy are the result of extensive professional development and industry experience.

Students may not:

• Replicate the course curriculum
• Teach or distribute the training materials
• Repackage the course content into their own training programs
• Create educational programs that substantially reproduce the methods, materials, or frameworks taught within the course

Students are welcome to apply the knowledge and skills learned to their professional services as brow artists.

However, the creation of competing education programs based on the intellectual property of Mayu Beauty Academy is strictly prohibited.

8. Respect for the Learning Environment

Mayu Beauty Academy is built on the values of:

• Mutual respect
• Industry elevation
• Community over competition

Students are expected to contribute to this environment with integrity and professionalism.

All members are encouraged to communicate with kindness, openness, and respect for differing experiences and perspectives.

9. Client Safety & Treatment Responsibility

The techniques and procedures taught within Mayu Beauty Academy are provided for educational purposes.

Students are responsible for ensuring they perform treatments safely and professionally in accordance with:

• Local health regulations
• Industry hygiene standards
• Insurance requirements
• Proper consultation and contraindication procedures

Mayu Beauty Academy is not responsible for any treatment outcomes, reactions, injuries, or business liabilities that may occur once a student begins performing services independently.

Students are expected to exercise professional judgment and continue developing their skills responsibly.

10. Confidential Business Information

As part of the training, students may receive access to business knowledge, strategies, systems, and operational insights developed by Mayu Beauty Academy.

This may include but is not limited to:
• Client experience systems
• Marketing strategies
• Business frameworks
• Pricing structures
• Operational workflows
• Brand positioning guidance

This information is shared to support student development and professional growth.

Students agree not to distribute, sell, publish, or publicly disclose confidential business information obtained through the course.

11. No Guarantees of Business Results

The training provided by Mayu Beauty Academy is educational in nature and designed to support students in developing their skills and business knowledge.

However, individual results may vary depending on factors including:

• Effort and implementation
• Experience level
• Market conditions
• Personal business decisions

For this reason, Mayu Beauty Academy does not guarantee specific financial or business outcomes.

12. Payments & Refunds

All course purchases are subject to the refund policy stated at the time of purchase.

Once course materials have been accessed, viewed, or downloaded, refunds may not be available unless required by applicable consumer law.

If a payment plan is selected, payments must be completed according to the agreed schedule.

Failure to complete payments may result in suspension or removal of course access.

13. Media Consent & Content Usage

During the course of training, students may be photographed or filmed while participating in practical training sessions, demonstrations, classroom activities, or model work.

This may include:

• Photographs or videos of treatments performed
• Classroom training footage
• Behind-the-scenes training content
• Before and after treatment results
• Educational demonstrations

By enrolling in training with Mayu Beauty Academy, students acknowledge and provide consent for Mayu Beauty Academy to capture and use this content for educational and marketing purposes.

This content may be used across, but is not limited to:

• Social media platforms
• Marketing materials
• Website content
• Educational materials
• Promotional campaigns
• Advertising and brand content

Students understand that these materials may be used indefinitely for the promotion and development of Mayu Beauty Academy and its training programs.

Students acknowledge that once content has been published in marketing materials or online platforms, removal may not always be possible.

14. Student Work & Portfolio Permission

As part of practical training, students will perform treatments on models.

Photographs or videos may be taken of the treatment process and the final results, including before and after images of the services performed by students during training.

By enrolling in the course, students acknowledge and agree that Mayu Beauty Academy may use these treatment results for:

• Educational demonstrations
• Marketing and promotional materials
• Social media platforms
• Website content
• Advertising campaigns
• Academy portfolio materials

Where possible, Mayu Beauty Academy may credit student work when sharing results, however this cannot always be guaranteed depending on the context of use.

Students acknowledge that these materials contribute to the academy’s portfolio and marketing content and grant permission for their use accordingly.

15. Agreement

By purchasing or accessing any training provided by Mayu Beauty Academy, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
